Active Shooter Response (ASR1) - LEO and SRO's: FREE - 2 Days
This two-day program is designed to enhance and improve the response to an active shooter/mass casualty event requiring immediate intervention to stop loss of life as a result of a criminal or terrorist act of violence against our schools. This course uses a compartmentalized structure to assist agency’s needs. Attendees will receive basic medical training, active shooter response training, live fire tactical verification training and force on force single/multiple office response tactics, techniques and procedures. This program is designed to address and reinforce tactical concepts of movement, entry and clearing.
Training Outcome: Students will gain the capability and training necessary to eliminate active shooter threats. This course requires moderate to high levels of physical fitness and the class learning objectives will fatigue the student. The student must be able to walk, run short distances, kneel, squat, bend, assume prone positions and recover to any position unassisted. Students should not attend that have back problems, heart conditions or any other physical limitations. Level 1: Basic SWAT: $385.00 - 5 DaysThis course is for certified law enforcement officers only.
Program Description: This approved seventy-two hour POST approved Basic SWAT Course will certify each student. This program is conducted in cooperation with the Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy located in Anniston, AL. The program will begin at 7:45 am. The days are long, extending 14+ hours each day. This program is designed to address and reinforce basic tactical concepts, movement, entry and clearing using repetitive scenario based force on force scenarios. Training includes tactics, techniques and procedures for law enforcement tactical operations, use force case law, medical training, rapid decision making during scenarios and many other concepts. Course includes a Tac Med Solutions Operator IFAK valued at more than $80.00 each - for every student (coyote tan). We do not haze students. All students are treated as professionals. This course requires moderate to high levels of physical fitness and the class learning objectives will fatigue the student. The student must be able to walk, run short distances, kneel, squat, bend, assume prone positions and recover to any position unassisted. Students should not attend that have bad backs, heart conditions or any other physical limitations. Level II: Intermediate SWAT: $255.00 - 4.5 daysProgram Description: Review basic tactical concepts, movement, clearing techniques, planning, vehicle assaults, gas, flash-bangs, hostage rescue and breaching. There are no classroom events on day one except registration procedures. Land navigation classroom and a required compass course (day and night) exercise, woodland operations, rural movements to objective. Multi-level entry, multiple entry points, ballistic breaching, live gas clearing, use of visual aids during clearing operations. All day live fire training. Students must pass a shoot-house qualification. Live fire day will test the student's limits. Graded exercises. The final day of training will consist of two graded operations. These operations will not be disclosed until the day of the exercise. All students must receive a "passing" status to graduate the course on these two graded scenarios. These scenarios use non-lethal training ammunition (force on force). This course requires moderate to high levels of fitness and the class learning objective will fatigue the student. The student must be able to walk, run short distances, kneel, squat, bend, assume prone positions and recover to any position unassisted. Students should not attend that have bad backs, heart conditions or any other physical limitations.
Level III: Advanced SWAT: $300.00 - 4 daysProgram Description: The focus of this training is Hostage Rescue with emphasis on a wide range of clearing methods. Students will have to conduct critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. The program consist of live weapons training, force on force training and several qualification courses.
NOTE TO ALL STUDENTS: Qualifications are difficult. If you fail a qualification you will be removed from the training. Make no mistake, there will be no exceptions to this rule. Students will be required to engage targets from a variety of platforms using both handgun and shoulder fired weapons. Training includes multi-level entry, multiple entry points, use of visual aids during clearing operations. All students must receive a "passing" status to graduate the course on these two graded scenarios. These scenarios use non-lethal training ammunition (force on force). This course requires moderate to high levels of fitness and the class learning objective will fatigue the student. The student must be able to walk, run short distances, kneel, squat, bend, assume prone positions and recover to any position unassisted. Students should not attend that have bad backs, heart conditions or any other physical limitations. Body bunker/ballistic shield: $65.00 - 1 dayProgram Description: The training is designed to qualify the student by performing maneuvers and tactics with a ballistic shield. This course will provide the student with the proficiency and attitude through hands on training to identify and conduct entry using a shield including live fire. The student will also receive an introduction to room entry drills. Upon successful completion of the course, each student will receive a certificate of completion.
Carbine/patrol Instructor: $400.00 - 5 daysProgram Description: This training program is a one week (40) hour program designed to train the law enforcement officer to be a rifle/carbine instructor with knowledge in course of fire development, nomenclature safety rules, safe handling, loading and unloading, safe operation and maintenance of several weapons. Graduation from the program requires the firing of two qualification courses.
counter assault training - active threat response (Cat): $225.00 - 3 daysThis course is for certified law enforcement officers only. We train in all weather conditions except for lighting or other extremely hazardous conditions. This class is a long day, plan accordingly!
Program Description: This three day - 30 hour course focuses on law enforcement TTP’s using a 1 to 6 man combined elements using active threat tactics. The course requires the successful completion of multiple live fire weapons qualifications. This course includes force on force training, medical training under fire and precision shooting. Participants should have attended a Basic SWAT Course AND previous active threat training. The course is oriented towards law enforcement officers who learn to rapid deployment contact team concept to stop violence. Qualifications: ALL qualifications are difficult. Students will have challenging qualifications courses each day. Students MUST qualify on handgun, shotgun and patrol rifle, and scoped weapons. During each qualification stage, if a student fails the stage of fire, the student will be given two (2) chances to reshoot each stage. Students will also engage targets during an iron sight combat course requiring moderate levels of physical fitness. Students will qualify at the 100 meter mark and closer. Students will familiarize with targets out to 200 meters. HIgh risk entry (hre1): $75.00 - 1 dayProgram Description: At the completion of this training the student will effectively deploy during a critical incident, perform two man/three man clearing tactics, rapidly and deploy during active shooter situations as a single officer response. The course also includes the use for force on force scenario based training to enhance the objectives.
Police sniper (Level I): $160.00 - 3 daysProgram Description: This course is a Police Sniper Course designed to familiarize and complete multiple precision shooting qualifications. Instruction consists of skills and tactics including hostage situation management; instinctive firearms training, surveillance/intelligence reporting, incident preplanning, wind and weather, angles, shooting through glass, night fire and independent/select shooting. The shooting tables are challenging and difficult. Expect three long days. Night fire occurs in the program.
Qualifications: ALL qualifications are difficult. Students will have challenging qualifications courses each day. Students MUST qualify on handgun, iron sights, and scoped weapons. During each qualification stage, if a student fails the stage of fire, the student will be given one (1) chance to reshoot each stage. Students will also engage targets during an iron sight combat course requiring moderate levels of physical fitness. Students will qualify at the 100 meter mark and closer. Students will familiarize with targets out to 200 meters. POLICE SNIPER (Level II): $175.00 - 3.5 DAYSProgram Description: This course is a Police Sniper Course (Level II) designed to challenge the students ability to engage in a a variety of setting. This course is physically demanding and will fatigue the shooter. Qualifications are hard, Learning outcomes will be provided on day one of class. We will tell you this, come prepared to shoot, move and communicate.

During each qualification stage, if a student fails the stage of fire, the student will be given one (1) chance to re-shoot each stage. Students will familiarize with targets out to 200 meters. Protective detail training program (Pdtp): $225.00 - 3.5 daysProgram Description: This four day program designed to provide specialized training to personnel who conduct protective operations for leaders, high profile inmates, or those who may become the target of an act of terrorism. Emphasis is placed on a wide spectrum of protective operations including advances, formations, motorcade operations, arrivals and departures, live fire, site surveys and many other topics. After completing the training, students shall have the ability to operate within the many positions of protective formation. The course includes a live fire qualification, familiarization, and other shooting skills that relate to the protective operations mission. This class will conduct challenging training scenarios. Students are expected to be in good physical condition prior to attending the course. We follow U.S. State Department and Secret Service models for protection.
Tactical lifesaver I (TLS1): $85.00 - 1 dayProgram Description: This one day course will prepare the student to conduct self and buddy aid using an individual first aid kit. Students will participate in lecture, labs and practical exercises during this eight hour course. Students will receive a NEW Tactical Medical Solutions DOK at the end of the end of the training.

reactive shooting I: $75.00 (RS1) - 1 Day 8 hoursProgram Description: This affordable LE Only class prepares the shooter for rapid engagement using a variety of techniques. Prepare for a challenging day. Students will be required to pass a challenging handgun skills test consisting of multiple phases. This course enables the attendee to become develop rapid shooting skills accurately. Again - this course is for LE only.
Reactive shooter ii (rs2): $125.00 - 1 long day 12 hoursProgram Description: Students will be required to pass challenging handgun and rifle skills tests. This course enables the student to become a better shooter and develop rapid shooting skills accurately. Be prepared for multiple stage qualification courses. This course is about “running” the guns but most importantly – this class is about accuracy. This course requires moderate levels of fitness and will fatigue the student. The student must be able to run short distances, kneel, squat, bend, assume prone positions and recover to any position unassisted.
Tactical medic course (Tacmed1): $385.00 - 5 DaysProgram Description: Students must be at least a Basic EMT to attend this class. This course is not designed to make you a medic. The course is designed to train you tactics, techniques and procedures to be part of a tactical element. You may or may not be a certified LEO. If you are not a certified LEO through a police academy, you can’t receive a “Basic SWAT Certification” – Those are reserved for law enforcement officers only.
This course will run in conjunction with an APOSTC Approved Basic SWAT Course. Students participating in this will be integrated with the law enforcements officers participating in the Basic SWAT Course. This program is designed to addresses basic tactical concepts, movement, clearing techniques and other related topics to new tactical medical personnel. This program uses a combination of short PPT lectures combined with scenario-based training to enhance skill development and the understanding of the tactical medical role. All scenarios were developed from real world events and instructed by staff that are and have been operators. All scenarios use non-lethal training ammunition in the force on force situations. The course starts off in classroom but moves outside quickly. We work on the basics to latter stages of operations. The course will include a live fire familiarization. Students are expected to be in good-physical condition prior to attending the course. Ram and ballistic breaching: $65.00 - 1 dayProgram Description: The training is designed to instill within the student the performance of ramming and ballistic breaching capabilities using for a variety of forced entry options or circumstances. Each student who qualifies will receive a certificate of completion. 12 gauge rounds are provided for the training.

Tactical leaders training: $195.00 - 3 daysProgram Description: This course assists in preparing future and current leaders for the intense requirements for the role of assistant team leader and team leader. This is not a commander’s course. The student will develop their own agencies critical tasks list (tactical), planning considerations and evaluate several scenarios from the APOSTC Basic SWAT Course and other topics. You will also learn to evaluate and critique teams on subjects such as hostage rescue operations, drug raids, barricaded gunman, vehicle assaults, and others. Team leaders will also receive leadership training enhancing their ability to lead other, lead self and lead teams.
Training RequirementsFirearms The student will learn the weapon safety rules and abide by the rules at all times. We can not afford an unsafe student in any class. Safety violations are dealt with swiftly. The student should be able to load, unload, and reload their firearm in a SAFE and CONTROLLED manner. Unless attending a basic weapon program, the student should be familiar with their weapon systems and equipment and possess the basic knowledge to be able to disassemble their firearm for cleaning, maintenance, and problem solving. Physical Attributes The student must possess the physical strength and stamina to repetitively manipulate and fire their weapon during prolonged drilling, in all weather conditions. The student must be able to get up and down from a standing, kneeling, and prone position, as well as move forward, backward, and laterally. We do not conduct physical fitness during training programs. That is not our job - that is your job to be fit. Gear The student, regardless of duty position, needs to arrive with the proper gear and equipment in relation to the weapon systems that will be taught and used. For example, if a road officer arrives for tactical training without any type of tac vest or equipment is unacceptable and undermines the training being conducted. This also includes gear for inclement weather, a method of hydration, etc… Training The instructors take the time to guide, mentor and explain the material effectively. They also take the time to analyze and inform the shortcomings of students then make corrections to improve the overall performance of the student. Each student is evaluated and performance increased. The instructors currently serve their agencies; therefore, we continuously update and improve the programs based on their personal experiences.
